Staying at the guesthouse was an excellent experience! Right from our arrival, the staff made us feel so welcome! We were coming from a city where we had a very bad experience and they went above and beyond to be welcoming! the guesthouse is clean, simple, very well maintained, and has a fantastic location. I highly recommend this place to anyone spending a few days in the cute city!

Great location and helpful owners. The owners were friendly and always ready to assist. The location of the hotel was perfect, with many pubs, shops, and restaurants within walking distance. The beach and the harbor were also conveniently close by.

No tea/coffee making facilities or fridge in the room. This was a bit inconvenient as we had to go to the communal kitchen downstairs for these amenities.

As a solo traveller, I loved the cozy apartment style accommodation and the friendly, warm welcome from the staff. the location was great, very close to the town center and the beautiful beach. the continental breakfast provided was sufficient.

The room was always clean and tidy, with fresh towels and bed linen provided regularly. the hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and even treated us to delicious homemade cakes every day. the location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and the town center. great value for money with excellent service.

That our bathroom was located across the hall instead of being en suite. it was fully lockable, so privacy was not an issue.

Our recent stay at this guest house was fantastic! We were delighted with the excellent location, right in the heart of the bustling town of Alvor. The room was lovely, and the staff were incredibly helpful. We especially appreciated being able to leave our luggage after check-out. The breakfast, although slightly lacking in continental options, was delicious. we had a great time and would definitely recommend this place to others.

The staff at Sem Nome were incredibly friendly and welcoming. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel right at home. The guest house itself is beautiful, recently refurbished to a high standard. The continental breakfast provided was more than sufficient to start my day. The location is ideal, just a short walk from the beaches and close to the main tourist street. I especially loved the nearby old fishing village of Alvor, which offered a quieter and more authentic experience compared to the bustling town of Portimao. The beach in Alvor is truly spectacular, with miles of golden sands to explore. I had a wonderful stay at Sem Nome and would highly recommend it to others.
